About this Dish

Originating from Bologna, Mortadella is a large cylindrical meat that is produced from heat-cured pork and flavoured with black pepper, before shavings of black truffle are incorporated. Similar to typical English luncheon meat, Mortadella has a delicate sweetness in flavour, which is complemented by the addition of elegant black truffle. The perfect starting point for any authentic Italian food platter, our Truffle Mortadella is delicious when joined by creamy cheeses such as Ricotta or Mozzarella and is an excellent addition to sandwiches and paninis.
